The Pine Apple Bag

This bag is based on the instructions for a "Pine Apple Bag" published in 1840 by Mrs. Jane Gaugain in her book "The Lady's Assistant, for executing useful and fancy designs in knitting, netting, and crochetwork" and on a picture of a tiny purse (Knitting Reference Library, University of Southampton), which appeared in the book "Mil anys de disseny en punt", Centre de Documentació i Museu Tèxtil http://www.cdmt.es/), Terrassa, 1997.

Bufanda de René

Bufanda ondulada

Este modelo es una variante del que viene en la etiqueta de la lana Arabella. Aquí, el surco formado por los puntos tejidos del derecho en la cuarta vuelta se prolonga por todo el largo de la bufanda, lo que acentúa su aspecto ondulado.

  • un ovillo de Arabella (Schachemayr Nomotta), 100 g ≈ 200 m;
  • una aguja circular de 5,5 mm y al menos 60 cm de largo.

Arizona Tuxedo

This charming Tuxedo sweater is made in the popular Indian style, the brightly colored diamonds running up the back, and into the Tuxedo collar.

  • 7 balls of Corticelli Klosola Petunia No. 7,

  • small quantity of Black.
  • No. 5 Knitting Needles.

  • 12 ounces of Brown Corticelli Chinchilla Wool.
  • No. 13 Wood Needles.
  • Four yards of Ribbon.

Slip-On Waist

A slip-on with a medium front opening and a border at bottom. The sleeves and collar are made in a lace effect of drop stitch, buttonholed with silk. A model that is simple to make and quite effective.

Indian Slip-On

This slip-on, one of the newest of the Indian designs, is made of Sand Flosola with the odd designs of Red, Goldenrod, Marion Blue, and Black Flosola. The slashes at bottom of sleeves, the collar made of square tabs, and the bone rings worked in the girdle all add to the charm of this slip-on.

A stylish hemstitched blouse waist made of Green Angola trimmed with Black Sweater Silk. It has a deep front opening and a girdle effect waist line made of the silk. This garment, being very open, light, and airy, is ideal for summer wear. It can be made of Flosola if desired, using the same directions.
